Upon completed registration, a skate sharpening card will be placed in the skate sharpening room with the players name on it.  (in the card box)  

Registered PRAHA player's process:

1. Leave skates in the skate sharpening room on the shelf that is labeled "UNDONE".
2. Place your skate sharpening card INSIDE the skates.
3. Skates will be moved to the "DONE" shelf when sharpened.  

All other skaters' process:

1. Leave skates in the skate sharpening room on the shelf that is labeled "UNDONE".  
2. Place your name and $5.00 INSIDE the skates.
3. Skates will be moved to the "DONE" shelf when sharpened.  

A skate sharpening volunteer will NOT sharpen a pair of skates that does not have a name/money or skate sharpening card in it. 

No exceptions.  

Frequency -- Most experts recommend skates be sharpened after 4 to 6 hours of use.  If your player skates on the outside ice or on the lake, they should be sharpened before the next practice.  Each player will develop their own preferences.  Sharp skates make a difference and the player will notice it.
